Our Story

Lovejoy’s is Tamworth’s leading art house, featuring a wide range of styles and themes to suit every mood and pocket. Two floors of unique pieces, from originals to limited edition prints; brand new art by renowned artists and many many works by local artists. Not to mention a cornucopia of anything and everything that isn’t a painting!!

As for the name….Lovejoy’s!! yes thats right, it is from the TV series of the 90’s starring Ian McShane (whose birthday falls on the same day Lovejoy’s celebrates its anniversary). So i leave you with the words of Mr Lovejoy……sorry, no Mr, just Lovejoy “…..A work of art is not complete until it is shared….” emphasising that the act of selling, and having a painting find a new owner, is a vital part of an artwork’s journey. Lets keep that journey going.
